CompSoc Quest is a short management and adventure game that puts you in the shoes of an executive member of the Computer Science Society (CompSoc) at the University of Canterbury.

Take on the challenge of running a successful year for the society by making important decisions, organising social and academic events, managing your executive team, promoting activities, and building a stronger computing community.

You will plan events, handle marketing, and work together to make sure CompSoc has a successful and memorable year.

Will you be able to balance everything and lead CompSoc to success?

Install instructions

1. Download the CompSoc-Quest.zip file.

2. Extract the ZIP file.

3. Make sure you have Java 25 or later installed:

https://www.oracle.com/java/technologies/downloads/

4. Open a terminal/command prompt in the extracted folder.

5. Run:

java -jar CompSocQuest.jar
